I am 24 today, eep! Actually, I’m a lot calmer than I expected given that turning 18 only feels like yesterday. But that’s okay because I’ve gotten better with age. Unless I go out tonight, drink too much and stumble into work tomorrow looking like a sorry sight in which case, maybe I’ll try my luck next year.

Thanks to all who have wished me a happy birthday; without you guys, I’m nothing.

Update: Tonight I celebrated with some of my closest friends, my boyfriend, a pub dinner and trivia and CUPCAKES. I can honestly say, it’s one of the best birthDAYS I have ever had.

My good friend Christine just picked us up tickets to see Mumford and Sons in August!

I may be jumping on the bandwagon a little late but I absolutely love this song…and their entire album!

Once every blue moon, a film comes along that has you thinking about it for days. Bright Star was certainly one of those films.

Nothing brings me to tears like a romantic yet tragic period piece. Or a John Keats poem. Keep the tissues close by!

I have not had a piece of chocolate or easter egg yet, how’s that for willpower? I hope everyone has a splendid long weekend; good food, good company and of course, a truckload of great chocolate.

For those who are interested, I am 150% better and am ready to blog again. I’m also on holidays for two weeks; I’ve got no excuse to neglect the blog!
